Founded in 1951 by Robert D. Sink, "Sink Jewelers" had been serving the public for nearly 54 years. In 1951, Robert D. Sink, after working as an apprentice for Fritz Martin in Greenville, Ohio, opened up his own jewelry store just down the road in Arcanum. Three years later in 1954 he moved just up the street to it's current location. Mr. Sink's credo of "treat people fairly and provide them with good service" has been the main stay of the stores' success. His son, Dan Sink has kept that philosophy. Dan started working part time in the shop in 1981. He apprenticed under Robert until due to health reasons Robert was forced to retire in late 2002. Due to the passing of Robert in 2004, Dan has vowed to continue the business another 50 years. Sink Jewelers is a full line jewelry store offering many brand names like Bulova, Artcarved, Trew Tungsten, and Daring Diamonds. Sink Jewelers has a friendly helpful staff of 4 employees with over 60 years experience.
